MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED launched on April 24, 2024 and received two major free content updates post-launch: Ver.3.1.0 on June 27, 2024 (adding the Grendizer collaboration with a fully playable Rogue, new missions, new weapons, and quality-of-life improvements) and Ver.3.2.0 on November 26, 2024 (adding the new "Megarobo Batroseum" online battle mode with Battle Royale and Team Battle formats, a new Sengi System mechanic, and five legendary collaboration pilots from classic super robot franchises). The developer also ran an in-game event boosting legendary item drop rates in December 2024, and posted a 50% off sale announcement on March 18, 2025. These two major updates established a cadence of roughly every 5 months between significant content releases.
However, as of October 1, 2026, the last major content update was on November 26, 2024 — nearly 11 months ago — and the last developer communication of any kind was the March 18, 2025 sale post, over 10 months ago. Both intervals significantly exceed the previously established ~5-month update pattern. LEVEL5 has made no statement about concluding development, nor have they communicated any plans for further updates. The silence is prolonged and unexplained, making it unclear whether additional content is still being developed or whether the game's active update phase has quietly ended.
