Custom Mech Wars launched on December 14, 2023, bundled with two launch-day DLC packs: an Earth Defense Force collaboration set and the Omega Customization Set. The most recent major content release was a free anniversary DLC — "Head parts: Girl head B" — released on December 19, 2024, to mark the game's first anniversary. The New Year's 2025 post on January 1, 2025 promoted this same DLC release. There have been no developer communications after January 1, 2025, and no announcements of additional content or roadmap items beyond what has already shipped. All three DLC items listed on the store are marked as released. The developer has made no statements suggesting further content is planned, and the anniversary post reads as a celebratory thank-you rather than a signal of ongoing development. The pattern of activity — launch content, post-launch bug fixes, and a single one-year anniversary freebie — is consistent with a game that has reached its natural content endpoint. With no unreleased DLC, no outstanding commitments, and developer communications having tapered off after January 2025, the game appears to be complete.
