Evaluation
Livelock launched on August 30, 2016 as a complete co-operative top-down shooter. The developer shipped one post-launch patch on September 27, 2016, adding new difficulty modes and game modes alongside balance adjustments. After that single patch, all developer communication ceased — the 16 news posts on record are dominated by pre-launch announcements, trading cards, sales, and promotional content, with nothing substantive after September 2016. The only DLC ever released was the Original Soundtrack, which was included free at launch. No expansions, additional content packs, roadmaps, or future plans were ever announced. The game launched as a finished product and received one round of post-launch improvements before the developer moved on. Nearly a decade has passed since the last developer communication with no indication of further content.
Evidence
Livelock launched as a complete game on August 30, 2016 at $19.99, with the OST included free.
Post-launch patch added a new difficulty mode, two new Open Protocol modes, and balance changes. This is the last recorded developer communication.
