Armed to the Gears

Armed to the Gears launched out of Early Access on April 8, 2020. In the release announcement, the developer (Raf) was explicit about the game's future: features like multiplayer, content editors, and expanded customization would require too much core redesign to be added to this game. As a result, the team stated their intention to move on to a new separate project built from the ground up for those features. This is a clear statement that no further content is planned for Armed to the Gears itself. After the release, the only notable post-launch activity was a November 2021 news post announcing a Nintendo Switch port and a bundle deal — a commercial/platform expansion, not new game content. A small bug fix patch was also issued shortly after launch (April 13, 2020). No new content, expansions, or roadmaps have been communicated since launch. The game shipped as a complete package with a full campaign and an endless wave defense mode, and the developer has explicitly closed the door on further development of this title.
