Mercury Abbey launched on November 22, 2024 and has received a consistent stream of updates from YiTi Games since then. The developer also stated intent to continue evaluating and adding further languages beyond that batch. The major post-launch content updates shipped on January 24, 2025 and March 13, 2025, establishing roughly a 2-month cadence between the first two updates. Version 1.1.4 arrived in November 2025 — about 8 months after 1.1.3. The interval between updates has lengthened, but the developer was still communicating concrete plans as recently as January 1, 2026, and no statement has been made indicating that development or content additions are concluding. The last developer communication was January 1, 2026, approximately 9 months before today's date of October 1, 2026. This silence period is longer than the established update cadence and edges toward the 6-month communication threshold. However, the January 2026 post outlined specific near-term deliverables (6 new languages in Q1 2026) and expressed an open-ended commitment to further language additions. There are no announced but unshipped named DLC entries, so the update pattern — rather than specific outstanding commitments — is the primary basis for assessing content status.
