Mesorift Survival launched into Early Access on August 27, 2025 at version 0.0.1. The developer, Meik.W Interactive, has maintained an exceptionally active update cadence since launch — the 49 news posts scanned represent a near-continuous stream of patches, with major feature updates arriving roughly every 4-6 weeks throughout 2026. Key milestones include: a full vehicle save system rework (February 21, 2026), a farming system (February 5, 2026), furniture crafting and new AI behaviors (April 3, 2026), fuel mechanics and vehicle expansion (May 9, 2026), a full plane flight system and new Sector B island (July 10, 2026), and a new town called Havenwood (July 17, 2026). The most recent patch (0.4.5, August 14, 2026) added new features and fixes just five days before today's assessment date. The game is currently at version 0.4.5 — still far from a 1.0 release — and the store description explicitly states that "content, balance, and performance will expand with frequent updates." There is no indication from the developer that development is winding down.
