Evaluation
Karagon launched into Early Access on February 13, 2023, with the developer explicitly describing it as "mostly in a completed state" and intending Early Access as a short feedback-gathering period of "a few extra months." Following launch, three small patches shipped between February 14–18, 2023 addressing bugs and minor improvements. The game then formally released out of Early Access on April 17, 2023, and the Steam Early Access flag is no longer active. All developer communication ceased after February 18, 2023 — well over three years ago — and no post-launch updates, announcements, roadmaps, or DLC have been communicated since. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no outstanding promises, and no indication of planned future content. The game shipped as a self-described nearly-complete product, the Early Access feedback phase ran its short course, and development appears to have concluded at the 1.0 release.

- Survive against robotic creatures using your crafted guns and constructed rideable robots! Dangerous robots will try to take you down with melee attacks and plasma lasers.
- Craft guns, swords, tools, armor, workbenches and forges from technology you unlock and schematics you obtain! Gather natural resources and collect machine parts from fallen robot parts and destroyed robots.
- Multi-floor buildings with killer robots with tons of unique loot and equipment schematics await. Explore houses, multi-floor highrises, tents, garages, bus stations, robot upgrade stations, portals, and more.
- Explore & Progress through a post apocalyptic open world filled with discoveries and dangerous robots. Choose your path, progress through technology tiers, and gain the strength to face new exciting areas and robots.
