Far Cry Primal launched on February 29, 2016 as a full release. Post-launch activity was concentrated in early 2016: a stability patch shipped on March 15, 2016, the Wenja Pack DLC released on March 23, 2016, and a free Survivor Mode update arrived on April 12, 2016. That Survivor Mode patch represents the last substantive content addition the developer delivered. Since then, developer communications have been limited to a Ubisoft Connect installer fix in March 2022 and a Steam Achievements update in February 2025 — both purely technical/platform maintenance items with no new content. The game's single DLC has been released, no further DLC has been listed or announced, and no developer post has hinted at additional content at any point in the game's history. Far Cry Primal launched and was supported as a complete, self-contained title, and all post-launch content has been fully delivered.
