Metal Slug Attack Reloaded launched on June 18, 2024. Following its release, the developer issued two bug fix patches in June and July 2024 to address save data and crash issues. On November 19, 2024, SNK announced a free update was coming, and on November 28, 2024 that update shipped — adding 20 new units, new stages, gallery content, and quality-of-life improvements. This represents the only major content release post-launch. Since November 28, 2024, there have been no further developer communications of any kind: no announcements, no roadmap, no additional patches, and no hints of further content. The store description does not reference any live service structure, seasonal content, or additional planned releases. With only a single major update in the game's history and over six months of complete silence since that update, the developer's active post-launch content work appears to have concluded with the November 2024 free update.
