Midnight Carnival

Midnight Carnival is a visual novel that has been in Early Access since November 22, 2016. The developer released chapter updates in April and May 2017, with a May 31, 2017 post explicitly stating the game was "almost half done" — meaning significant story content was still unfinished at that point. However, all developer communication about Midnight Carnival stopped on May 31, 2017. In the same period, the developer was promoting an entirely separate game, Sol Ni Koro, via a Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight campaign. There have been no further updates, patches, or developer posts in the nearly 9 years since May 31, 2017. The game remains in Early Access with the story acknowledged to be incomplete, and there is no indication from the developer that work has continued or that the project is still being actively developed.
