Midnight Protocol launched on October 13, 2021 as a complete narrative RPG. Post-launch, the developer delivered a series of updates that expanded the game: real-time mode was rolled out incrementally across Acts 1, 2, and 3 (completing with the v1.3.0 update on July 30, 2022), a community campaign editor was introduced in beta on January 12, 2022 and refined through early 2022, and official custom campaigns were published on February 11, 2022. The final major update — v1.3.0 on July 30, 2022 — completed the real-time mode for the full game, fulfilling all commitments the developer had publicly outlined.
Since July 30, 2022, there have been no further developer communications, no new content announcements, no unreleased DLC on the store, and no roadmap pointing to future updates. The game has no DLC listed at all. The post-launch update arc had a clear beginning and end: real-time mode completion was the stated goal, and it was delivered. The developer made no statements about additional content beyond what was shipped, and the silence since July 2022 is consistent with a game that has concluded its update cycle.
