Midnight Scenes: The Goodbye Note is the second episode in an ongoing anthology horror series by Octavi Navarro and Susanna Granell (White Blanket Games). The game itself launched on September 8, 2020 as a self-contained short experience, and its own content is complete as shipped. However, the developers have continued expanding the broader Midnight Scenes series at a very consistent pace: The Nanny (October 27, 2021), From the Woods (February 9, 2023), A Safe Place (March 19, 2024), and Among Graves (March 17, 2026). Each new episode releases as a separate Steam product, with gaps of roughly 12–13 months between entries. Most recently, on July 14, 2026, the developers released a free remaster update for the original Midnight Scenes: The Highway, packed with new scenes, puzzles, and visual improvements — confirming the team remains very actively engaged with the series. The developers also performed a security patch across all their games in October 2025. The studio has shown no signs of slowing down, and we are currently within the typical window for the next series installment to be announced or released.
