Mighty Gunvolt launched on September 29, 2015 as a self-contained retro-style action platformer. Following launch, the developer issued two small patches in October 2015: a bug fix for AMD Radeon graphics cards on October 2, 2015, and a feature patch adding screen resolution and windowed mode options on October 16, 2015. These are standard post-launch polish updates. There have been no developer communications of any kind since October 16, 2015, no DLC has ever been listed, no additional content was announced, and the store description presents the game as a complete package with three playable characters and a fixed set of stages. The game shipped as a finished product and received only minor technical updates shortly after launch before going silent permanently.
