Mika and The Witch's Mountain

Mika and the Witch's Mountain launched into Early Access on August 21, 2024, and fully released on January 22, 2025. The developer, Chibig, published a roadmap during Early Access outlining a series of free content updates. That roadmap was fulfilled in full: the first update (Churros & Cats) launched on October 28, 2024; the second update added a fishing minigame and minimap on December 9, 2024; and the third and final update — "Into the Mont Gaun" — launched on March 7, 2025, adding three Zelda-like dungeons, new gameplay, a new outfit, collectibles, and a free-flying mode. The launch announcement on January 22, 2025 confirmed that two of the three planned content patches had already shipped at that point, with the third following shortly after on March 7, 2025. That third update completes the content roadmap the developer had communicated. Since then, the developer has only released maintenance patches fixing bugs in the new dungeons (through May 2025), with no announcements of additional content. The most recent developer communication on May 29, 2025 was a promotional discount event, not a content announcement. With all three planned content updates delivered and no further content announced, the game appears to have reached its intended complete state as of March 7, 2025.
