Minecraft Legends

Minecraft Legends launched on April 18, 2023 and received a structured post-launch update campaign. The developer shipped monthly "Lost Legends" free challenges beginning at launch (Portal Pile on April 19, 2023; The Breakout on May 18, 2023), followed by gameplay improvement patches in August 2023, and then what was described as the game's "biggest update" on November 29, 2023 — adding new mobs, structures, a new mount, the witch unit, and a large expansion of custom game settings. After November 29, 2023, there have been no further developer communications of any kind — no patch notes, no announcements, no blog posts, and no new content. This silence spans from November 29, 2023 through today, June 22, 2026 — over two and a half years with no activity. The November 2023 update was framed as the game's biggest content drop, and no roadmap, season pass, or future content announcements were made alongside it or afterward. The sole DLC listed — the Deluxe DLC cosmetic pack — shipped on April 26, 2023 and is the only paid add-on; no unreleased DLC exists in the store listing. The developer's established cadence of roughly monthly updates ran from April through November 2023, then stopped entirely. Given the complete absence of any communication since November 29, 2023, the pattern strongly indicates that development concluded with that final major update.
