On October 28, 2025, ustwo games confirmed a December 3, 2025 release date for The Garden of Life, describing it as a free update featuring four new story chapters and bonus puzzles. It shipped as promised on December 3, 2025, followed immediately by a hotfix on December 4, 2025 to address a save data issue. The launch announcement also referenced "seasonal updates" starting with The Garden of Life, with "more to come post-launch." However, that language appeared in the pre-launch announcement (June 9, 2025), and the subsequent developer communications — from the July 22 launch post through the December 3 release of The Garden of Life — make no mention of additional content beyond that expansion.
