Morbid: The Seven Acolytes launched on December 3, 2020. After release, Still Running continued to support the game with post-launch updates: Update 5 on May 20, 2021 added a map and New Game Plus mode, and a June 18, 2021 update added a demo and expanded the New Game+ system with a New Game++ mode. These represent the extent of post-launch content additions.
Since June 18, 2021, the developer's communications on this game's Steam page have shifted entirely to promoting their next title, Morbid: The Lords of Ire — a full sequel announced in February 2023 and released on May 17, 2024. None of the developer diaries or announcements posted from late 2023 onward contain any reference to new content or updates for The Seven Acolytes. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap promises, and no developer statements indicating further content is planned for this game.
The game shipped as a complete experience, received two meaningful post-launch updates through June 2021, and the developer has since moved on to the sequel. No further content for Morbid: The Seven Acolytes has been announced or is expected.
