Evaluation

Morok is a free-to-play visual novel that released on October 14, 2019. The only post-launch developer communication on record is a patch from February 4, 2020 that added Linux support, new in-game music, and fixed several bugs. No DLC has ever been listed, no expansions were announced, and the developer has not posted any updates since February 2020. The store description presents the game as a self-contained story with no mention of ongoing content, seasons, or future additions. With no announced content, no update pattern beyond a single maintenance patch, and over six years of silence from the developer, the game appears to have launched as a complete, standalone product.

About this game

Morok is a visual novel with a northern character. Imagine this: you woke up in a swamp. Gnats are swarming around you. A creepy old woman invites you to her hut. The plot of the game takes us to a small Russian village. Everyone knows you, but you don't recognize anyone. The player will set out on the path to figure out exactly what happened in this place and who they really are.
