My Colony has been in continuous, active development since its 2018 Steam release and is showing no signs of slowing down. The game reached a major milestone on July 3, 2026, when the developer shipped My Colony v3.0 — the 10th Anniversary Update. This was a ground-up rewrite of the game, featuring a completely rebuilt simulation and rendering engine, a revamped user interface, new infinite world sizes replacing the old Region system, and a new Spice World map type. The developer explicitly stated in the release post that this is "not the end of the game, but a new beginning" and expressed enthusiasm for "the next 10 years of My Colony." Following the v3.0 launch, the developer has maintained a rapid weekly update cadence: v3.1.0 shipped July 6, 2026; v3.2.0 on July 13, 2026; v3.3.0 on July 22, 2026; v3.4.0 on August 5, 2026; and v3.5.0 on August 12, 2026 — the most recent developer communication as of today. These updates have delivered quality-of-life improvements, performance optimizations, new tools, and new content such as a 10th Anniversary statue buildable by all civilizations. The developer's own words in the v3.2.0 patch notes explicitly promise "a lot more My Colony to come," and the v3.3.0 post similarly says "stay tuned for more." The game is in a particularly active phase right now, with major content already shipped and a developer who is clearly engaged and committed to continued development.

Build Your Colony

Start with a single lander and rover, gather resources, and unlock a massive tech tree full of structures, utilities, and special units. Every resource leads to new possibilities as you evolve from a basic outpost to a sprawling interplanetary empire.

Play as one of four distinct factions, each with unique tech trees, units, and play styles:
