Evaluation
Judgment: Apocalypse Survival Simulation launched into full release on May 3, 2018, after over two years in Early Access. Post-launch, Suncrash delivered a series of updates: a feature patch in April 2020 (the Samurai Update), a free Desert Survival DLC in July 2019, and most significantly, a major 5th Anniversary Update alongside the free Outposts DLC on May 3, 2023.
The May 2023 anniversary post is the clearest statement of where Judgment stands. The developer explained that the Outposts update was made possible by knowledge gained from their second game, Dream Engines: Nomad Cities, but that time was limited — "I could only spend a couple of months on this update as I have another game in Early Access whose fans are expecting updates." The developer concluded: "I will continue supporting it as before" (meaning bug fixes and responsiveness to issues), and explicitly stated that their "main focus, however, is going back to our second title Dream Engines: Nomad Cities."
Since the May 2023 anniversary update, the only notable communication was a May 2024 post announcing that Dream Engines: Nomad Cities had left Early Access — a milestone for Suncrash's second game, with no new Judgment content announced alongside it. There have been no announcements of additional Judgment DLC, expansions, or future content since May 2023.
All three DLC entries in the store are released. The developer's own language in May 2023 frames that update as a celebratory capstone rather than the beginning of a new content cycle. With Dream Engines now fully released as of May 2024, Suncrash's attention has been on that title. The established pattern — two major free DLC drops in five years, with the developer explicitly citing time constraints and redirecting focus to their second game — is consistent with a game that has reached the end of its planned content additions. The last developer communication directed at Judgment was May 3, 2023, over two years ago as of today (June 27, 2026), well beyond any reasonable continuation of the modest post-launch update pattern.
Evidence
Developer released a 5th Anniversary Update and free Outposts DLC, noting they could only spend a couple of months on it due to their other game in Early Access. Stated they will 'continue supporting it as before' but that their 'main focus is going back to Dream Engines: Nomad Cities.' No future Judgment content announced.
Outposts Free DLC released as part of the 5th Anniversary Update — the most recent DLC release. All three DLC entries are now released with no unreleased items listed.
