Evaluation
Nations At War Digital has been in Early Access since April 25, 2020. The developer has listed four DLC battle packs on the store — Desert Heat Battlepack 1 & 2 and Stalin's Triumph Battlepack 1 & 2 — that remain unreleased and have no announced release dates. Only the two White Star Rising battle packs shipped, both in 2020.
The last known developer communication was a feature patch post on May 18, 2021, describing a switch to the Unity engine and UI improvements. Since that date — more than five years ago — there have been no further news posts, patch notes, roadmap updates, or any other public communication from the developer. The game remains in Early Access with no announced path to a 1.0 release.
The combination of four promised but undelivered DLC packs, an Early Access status with no graduation in sight, and over five years of developer silence raises serious concerns about whether development is still active. Players waiting for the unreleased content or a full release should be aware that there is no current evidence the game is still being worked on.
