Need for Speed™ Heat launched on June 4, 2020 as a complete, standalone racing game. Its two DLC items — the McLaren F1 Black Market Delivery and Keys to the Map — both released on the same day as the base game (June 4, 2020), meaning the game shipped with all its paid content already available. The only post-launch update was the addition of cross-play on June 9, 2020, making it the first EA title to support cross-platform play across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
There has been no developer communication about Need for Speed Heat since June 2020. The developer news associated with this store page is almost entirely about the successor title, Need for Speed Unbound — a separate game. Ghost Games has not announced any additional content, expansions, or updates for Heat, and no unreleased DLC appears in the store listing.
