Evaluation
Need for Speed™ Rivals is a racing game that originally launched in 2013 and arrived on Steam on June 4, 2020, accompanied by its only DLC — the Timesaver Pack — released on the same day. The store description explicitly states that online servers are no longer available, which is a clear indicator that the game's live components have been wound down. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no developer news posts, no roadmaps, and no announcements of future content. The game launched on Steam as a complete, self-contained package with no post-launch content cycle, and the server shutdown confirms that even ongoing service has concluded. This is a finished product with no further development activity expected.
