Neon Boost

Neon Boost is a free-to-play first-person platformer that launched on May 20, 2019. After launch, the team shipped two patches: a minor bug fix update and the more substantial Patch 1.2 on August 15, 2019, which addressed performance, controls, and visuals. On the game's one-year anniversary (May 20, 2020), the developers published a detailed retrospective post in which they explicitly stated that no further content would be added to Neon Boost. They explained that after finishing university, the team had to focus on their careers and could not dedicate time to adding more content to the game. The post made clear this was a final position, not a temporary pause. The December 13, 2025 post, while titled "Something big is coming…", does not relate to Neon Boost content. It announces that a former team member released a demo for a new game called BULK, and that part of the original Neon Boost team is working on a separate new game. This is a studio update, not a Neon Boost content announcement. A security patch was applied to Neon Boost on October 5, 2025 (v1.2 Unity security fix), but the developer explicitly noted this was a maintenance-only change with no new content. The game launched as a complete package and received its final content update on August 15, 2019. The developers have since confirmed no further content is planned. Neon Boost is a finished product.
