New Kind of Adventure entered Steam Early Access on June 4, 2015, and has never left that state. The developer's activity on this game's Steam page has been extremely sparse and has essentially stopped. The most recent news post, from April 11, 2017, was not about this game at all — it was a promotion for a separate title called Sol Ni Koro, which the studio was pitching on Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight. Prior to that, the only other update was an August 12, 2015 notice announcing a migration to Unity 5. No developer communication about New Kind of Adventure's actual development, roadmap, or 1.0 timeline has ever been published. With no updates of any kind since April 2017 — now over nine years ago — and no stated plan for completing or exiting Early Access, there is serious doubt about whether this project is still being actively developed.
