Evaluation
NEXT JUMP: Shmup Tactics launched on April 28, 2017 and received a meaningful post-launch content update — the "Red Legionnaires" free update on September 22, 2017, which added three new ships, a new game mode, and difficulty settings. The developer also shipped several feature patches and bug fixes through 2019.
On April 23, 2018, the developer posted a one-year anniversary note stating they were focused on their next game but acknowledged they still had "some plans for NEXT JUMP." However, no specific future content was ever announced or listed on the store, and no further content updates followed that statement. The final developer communications were maintenance patches in May and August 2019 (builds 298 and 299), focused on tutorial improvements, font updates, memory optimization, and bug fixes — not new gameplay content.
Since August 29, 2019, there have been no further posts of any kind for NEXT JUMP. By March 2022, the developer had publicly shifted focus to an entirely new game, Takara Cards (announced March 14, 2022, released around March 28, 2023), set in the same universe as NEXT JUMP. There are no unreleased DLC items listed on the store, no outstanding roadmap commitments, and no developer statements indicating further content is coming for NEXT JUMP.
The game shipped as a reasonably complete product, received one major free content expansion and several patches in its first two years, and has since been stable with no new development activity. It is a finished game.

Your mission, our mission, is simple:
The dragons are fleeing with all our Elixir supply. Stop them!
