Nitro Kid launched on October 18, 2022 as a complete roguelike deckbuilder with three agents, three acts, and a full synthwave soundtrack. In the weeks following launch, Wildboy Studios released a series of patches addressing balance, bugs, and quality-of-life improvements: version 1.1.0 on November 11, 2022 (new difficulty modes and balance changes), hotfixes 1.1.1 and 1.1.3 in mid-November, and a final balance update (1.1.4) on November 30, 2022. Steam Deck compatibility was confirmed on November 23, 2022. The only DLC listed is the soundtrack, which was released on launch day. No expansions, season passes, or additional content packs have ever been announced or listed. The developer's last communication of any kind was on November 30, 2022 — over three years ago as of today — and no roadmap or promise of future content was ever made. The game launched as a finished product and received a short post-launch polish cycle before going quiet. There is nothing to suggest additional content is coming.
