No-brainer Heroes launched into full release on November 29, 2019 (version 1.0.0), after roughly four months of Early Access development. The developer shipped several meaningful updates in the months following launch: a new Nightmare gameplay mode (December 2019), a free artbook DLC (January 2020), a Mac version (February 2020), and a series of feature patches through mid-2020. The last recorded developer communication is a bug-fix patch on August 15, 2020 (version 1.1.8). There have been no news posts, announcements, patch notes, or developer communications of any kind since that date — now nearly six years ago. The only DLC (an artbook) was released on January 15, 2020 and is fully shipped. No unreleased DLC exists in the store listing. The developer posted on February 4, 2020 noting that COVID-19 would temporarily suspend updates, but subsequent patches in March, May, and August 2020 confirmed the team returned and continued development before eventually going quiet. No future content was announced at any point after the August 2020 patch, and the developer made no statement of ongoing plans. The game appears to have launched as a complete product and received its final update on August 15, 2020.
