No Fair Play launched out of Early Access on July 28, 2023. On August 8, 2024, the developer explicitly announced that they were working on a "final update" for the game before moving on to their next project, Darkness Arises. That final update — version 1.1 — shipped on August 31, 2024, adding tearing clothes mechanics, a new game mode, new movement options, a map variant, and numerous fixes. At the end of that update post, the developer stated clearly: "I stop here for No Fair Play, I'll only correct bugs or do some small modifications. I'll now focus on Darkness Arises." This is a direct developer statement that substantive content development for No Fair Play is finished. The game is complete as of August 31, 2024, with any subsequent activity limited to minor bug fixes.
