Fight Crab launched on July 29, 2020 and received a steady stream of post-launch patches adding new content — including new weapons, new playable characters (such as the Deer from DEEEER Simulator in October 2020), balance updates, and new hyper skills — through September 14, 2022, when version 1.2.5 was released. That appears to be the last update to the base game. The developer's attention has since shifted to Fight Crab 2, the announced sequel. The studio announced Fight Crab 2 for Early Access in December 2023, released a demo in January 2024, and launched it into Early Access on February 13, 2024. No further updates or announcements for the original Fight Crab have been made since September 2022. The original Fight Crab has no unreleased DLC (only the soundtrack, which shipped on launch day). No future content for the base game has been announced. The developer has not explicitly stated that Fight Crab is "complete," but the combination of nearly two years of silence and the studio's clear pivot to developing a full sequel strongly indicates the original game is finished. It launched as a complete product with post-launch content additions, and those additions appear to have concluded with the v1.2.5 update in September 2022.

Take control of a simulated physics-powered crab and take on various opponents in this 3D action game with one basic rule: "flip your enemy over to win". Take advantage of a wide range of equipment to beat your opponent down: claws, swords, guns, armor, jet engines, and more. Stop your opponent's blade with your pincers, run along walls, and generally go full-on crab with all the fighting techniques at your disposal. In some completely different, super weird world, crabs have mastered human weapons and taken over the land.
Now immortal, these crabs cannot be killed by gun nor blade.
