Nobody – The Turnaround launched into Early Access on November 17, 2022 with one of three planned story scripts, a challenge mode, and a sandbox mode. The developer (a small studio of fewer than 20 people) explicitly stated at launch that the second and third story scripts would be released as free updates during Early Access, and that the game would continue to be updated until a full 1.0 release.
Just two days after launch, the game was pulled from sale due to compatibility issues with older versions of Windows. The developer posted in late December 2022 to confirm the team had not abandoned the project and was working on content adjustments. That post — dated December 30, 2022 — is the last official communication from the developer on record.
As of June 22, 2026, the game has been silent for over three years and remains unpurchasable on Steam. The promised second and third story scripts have never been delivered, and no roadmap updates, patch notes, or studio status posts have appeared since December 2022. This extended silence, combined with the game still carrying its Early Access designation and being unavailable to purchase, raises serious concerns about whether development is continuing at all.

Nobody - The Turnaround takes place in a parallel world similar to our current reality. The story unfolds in a modern metropolis, but not the concrete jungle as you know it. It's more about the undergrowth, the much less glamorous neighborhoods where actual life happens.
“You” are one of the ordinary “Nobodies” in this world. You do not have a distinguished family background, elite education, or once-in-a-lifetime business opportunities. However, through hard work and determination, you might eventually get rid of your troubles and make your way in this realistic society.
With systematic reconstructions of your possible physical status, such as Health and Emotions, Nobody – The Turnaround aims to accurately represent a person's working and living situations. You may suffer injuries, get sick or feel down due to various unexpected random events in life. It's important for you to balance everything and strive.

From the initial basic jobs to skilled labor that requires specific training, you can experience all kinds of professions here in Nobody – The Turnaround.
