NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION: Awakening

NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION: Awakening launched on July 20, 2022 and has received a steady stream of post-launch content over the following three years. Major paid DLC releases include a scenario for the Battle of Komaki-Nagakute (December 22, 2023), 40th Anniversary music and officer graphics packs (September–October 2023), a "Brotherly Revolt" scenario (July 20, 2023), and most recently a set of six new scenarios released on June 5, 2025. Alongside these paid additions, KOEI TECMO delivered numerous free feature updates adding new gameplay systems, events, battle maps, and quality-of-life improvements. The June 5, 2025 update (version 1.1.6) was the most substantial release in the game's post-launch history, adding the new "Grand Battles" feature and eight scenarios. A minor bug-fix patch (1.1.7) followed on June 13, 2025. All five listed DLC items are now released, and there are no unreleased DLC entries on the store. The developer has made no announcements of additional upcoming content since the June 2025 releases, and no roadmap or future content commitments are outstanding. The last developer communication was the June 13, 2025 bug-fix patch — over a year has passed since any new content signal. Given the game's historical cadence of roughly one major content drop per year, we are now beyond that window with no indication of further additions planned. The game appears to have reached the end of its content cycle with the June 2025 update.
