Evaluation

NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION: Sphere of Influence launched on September 1, 2015 as a complete historical strategy game. All nine DLC scenario packs were released on the same day as the base game, indicating they were part of the launch package rather than post-launch content additions. The developer's news activity on this Steam page is minimal — a bug fix patch in October 2016 and a post in October 2016 directing players to a separate, newer title ("Sphere of Influence - Ascension," App ID 375450). That post was promoting the localization of the follow-up game, not announcing new content for this one. There have been no developer communications of any kind since October 2016, no unreleased DLC, no roadmaps, and no announcements of future updates. The game launched as a finished product with its scenario content included at release, and the developer has since moved on to the successor title.
