NUTS launched on Steam on February 4, 2021, following an earlier release on Apple Arcade. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained narrative experience — a single-player surveillance mystery with full voice acting and a beginning-to-end story. After launch, the developer issued a small patch on February 10, 2021 adding accessibility options and fixing localization issues, and another bug fix on February 12, 2021 addressing a chapter 6 soft-lock. The only DLC ever listed is the Original Soundtrack, which released on March 26, 2021. There have been no news posts, announcements, roadmaps, or developer communications of any kind since February 2021. The developer has never announced additional story content, expansions, or future updates. NUTS launched as a finished product and has received no post-launch content beyond minor bug fixes and its soundtrack release.

GET TO WORK

You are a tiny cog in the ever-grinding machinery of Viago University’s research efforts. As a recent graduate, you’ve been sent on assignment to live alone in a dinky caravan in Melmoth Forest. Your job? To figure out exactly where the native squirrels nest. But the longer you spend in the forest, the stranger things begin to seem.
