Evaluation

INFRA launched on January 15, 2016 and was developed in episodic parts. Part 2 released on September 24, 2016 with 13 new levels, and Part 3 (the Complete Edition) released on September 27, 2017 — confirmed at the time of announcement as the final part of the game, delivered as a free update to all owners. This makes September 27, 2017 the date the game's content was complete. Since then, the developer has continued light maintenance: bug fixes, localization updates (Russian, Ukrainian, and most recently Japanese), and community posts. The January 16, 2026 post marking the game's 10th anniversary added a Japanese translation, but this is a localization milestone rather than new story content. There was a reference in December 2018 to a planned "Whiprock DLC" that would receive development focus after the Open Sewer spin-off stabilized. However, that spin-off (later renamed Obenseuer) went through a complete overhaul and was released as its own standalone game in November 2023. The developer stated at that time that future work would focus on Obenseuer (adding districts, quests, and mechanics), with no mention of the long-ago referenced Whiprock DLC for INFRA. Given that over seven years passed between the Whiprock mention and the Obenseuer release post — with no further references to Whiprock DLC in any subsequent communication — that earlier promise appears to have been quietly set aside. No unreleased DLC is listed for INFRA on the store, and the developer's post-2023 focus is clearly on Obenseuer as a separate product. The sole DLC listed for INFRA is the Original Soundtrack, which released alongside the game in 2016. The game's core content has been complete since September 27, 2017.
Evidence
Obenseuer (the former Open Sewer spin-off) released as its own game. Developer's future plans focus entirely on Obenseuer — adding districts, quests, and mechanics. No mention of Whiprock DLC or any further INFRA content.

About this game

INFRA puts you into the boots of an ordinary structural analyst – nothing more than a desk jockey assigned to survey some routine structural damage. Quickly though, your mission turns from a mundane trek to a fight for survival, all caused by deep-rooted schemes of the past. Your tools are simple: the camera around your neck and the wits to navigate a virtual labyrinth of debris. How you tell your story is your choice, will you have the commitment to finish your duty, or will you ignore all else but the preservation of your own life?

INFRA is what we like to call a gun-free puzzle adventure. Instead of large explosions and powerful guns, you will rely on your cunning to survive puzzles in an incredibly detailed world. As you travel through the infrastructure of a city you will find that your actions and thorough observations ultimately determine if others will survive. A society obsessed with upgradation has brought a disaster upon itself and it is your job to help restore it.
