Omelet You Cook launched into full 1.0 release on February 8, 2026, after seven months of Early Access. At launch, the developers explicitly stated they were "far from finished" and named specific features still planned, including a draftable starter pantry and the ability to replay weekly pantries. Since 1.0, the game has received two substantial content updates. On March 17, 2026, the Catch of the Week update (v1.1) shipped with 9 new ingredients, 8 new helpers, 7 new achievements, and the ability to replay any weekly pantry — one of the features promised at launch. On May 19, 2026, the Big Mushroom Update (v1.2) added a brand-new scoring mechanic, 10 new ingredients, 7 new helpers, and 6 new achievements. That update explicitly states: "We've still got a few more updates planned." Across the full post-launch history — including the Early Access period — the developers have shipped major content roughly every 4–6 weeks, with the two post-1.0 major updates arriving approximately 5 weeks apart (February 8 to March 17, and March 17 to May 19). As of today, June 19, 2026, it has been about one month since the last major update, which is squarely within the developers' established cadence. The studio remains actively engaged, communicating regularly, and has directly stated further updates are planned.
