Once' is a short visual novel (approximately 60 minutes) that launched on January 18, 2019. In the days immediately following launch, the developer issued several bug fix patches addressing minor issues. On August 19, 2019, the developer released a macOS version and fixed some remaining issues (CG gallery display, Steam cloud saves). That August post also mentioned plans to create Steam community items (trading cards, emoticons, badges) — a cosmetic undertaking unrelated to game content. There have been no developer communications since August 19, 2019, and no DLC or additional content has ever been announced or listed. The game was described from the outset as a self-contained ~60-minute story, and nothing in the developer's communications suggests further story content was ever planned. The game launched as a complete, finished product and reached its final state with the macOS release and accompanying fixes in August 2019.
