Onimusha: Warlords

Onimusha: Warlords is a remaster of the classic 2001 samurai action game, released on Steam on January 15, 2019. The game has received one notable post-launch content update: on April 23, 2025, Capcom pushed a free update adding a new "Hell" difficulty mode (a brutally hard one-hit-kill mode) and text support for six additional languages (Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Arabic, and Latin American Spanish). This update was released in conjunction with the launch of Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny, the sequel remaster, which released on May 23, 2025. Capcom has not announced any further content or updates for Onimusha: Warlords beyond this patch, and the store description presents the game as a complete, standalone enhanced version of the original. There is no roadmap, season pass, or unreleased DLC associated with the game. The April 2025 update appears to be a tie-in enhancement rather than the start of an ongoing content cycle, and no subsequent developer communication has indicated anything more is planned.
