Evaluation

Outlive 25 is a remaster of the classic 2000 RTS, developed by Continuum Entertainment and launched on Steam on April 30, 2026. It shipped as a complete package with three campaigns, co-op, online multiplayer for up to 16 players, and a rebuilt Campaign Editor. Since launch, the developer has remained actively engaged. A bug fix patch arrived in early June 2026, and a balancing pack shipped on July 18, 2026. Most significantly, on August 6, 2026 — just two weeks ago — the developer published a public roadmap detailing concrete updates still to come: Steam Workshop support (allowing community map sharing) and Steam Cloud saves are targeted for August 2026, followed by a full multiplayer overhaul with in-game chat, lobby browsing, and an online player list in September 2026. The developer also flagged spectator mode, ranked play, and ultrawide support as planned for later in 2026. This roadmap represents a clear, specific commitment to additional features and content beyond what shipped at launch.
