Evaluation

Overfall launched out of Early Access on May 17, 2016. After release, the developer shipped one major free content update — "The Ancients Awaken" on February 3, 2017 — which added 8 dungeon questlines, new hero personas, revised NPC stats, and reputation questlines. That represents the last substantial content addition to the game. The only DLC ever listed is the soundtrack, which released on launch day and has no further entries. On April 10, 2017, the developer announced a brand-new game called Battle Commanders, signalling that the studio's focus had moved on. There have been no further news posts, content updates, or announcements for Overfall since that date. With only two major content releases across the game's post-launch life and no developer communication since April 2017, it is clear the game reached its final content state with "The Ancients Awaken" in February 2017. No future content has been announced or hinted at since.
Evidence
Developer announced a new game, Battle Commanders, indicating the studio's development focus has shifted away from Overfall. This is the last known official communication from the developer regarding Overfall.
