Mad Head Games announced on April 30, 2026 that Pagan: Absent Gods would be removed from Steam by the end of May 2026. The game is now confirmed delisted — the store data shows no purchase options are currently available, consistent with that announcement. Players who already own the game retain access to it in their Steam libraries, but it can no longer be purchased. The game's history includes a significant transition: originally launched as the multiplayer Pagan Online in August 2019, it was converted to a singleplayer-only experience under the name Pagan: Absent Gods in August 2020 after multiplayer servers became unsustainable. Play through the eight acts of story campaign to uncover the mystery of Absent Gods. Normal, Hard, and Master difficulties await you. How confident are you feeling?
