Paranoia Place: Escape Together

Paranoia Place launched in Early Access on February 13, 2023, then reached its full 1.0 release on April 9, 2025, bringing major improvements including a second map (The Orphanage), co-op for up to 3 players, and extensive polish. On March 13, 2025, the developer noted the team would take a short break after the 1.0 launch to recharge and plan what's next, while also acknowledging the ongoing impact of the Ukraine war on their development timeline — but they committed to monitoring the game post-launch. That break was clearly short-lived. On April 10, 2026, the developer officially announced a brand-new map called The Forest, and it launched on May 23, 2026 as a free update for all owners (with a future paid price of $7.99). The same day The Forest was announced, the developer also shipped a meaningful multiplayer improvement, expanding the lobby from 3 to 4 players. A follow-up patch on May 24, 2026 fine-tuned the new map's difficulty and killer behavior. The game has now shipped three major content releases post-Early Access entry: the base game, The Orphanage map, and The Forest map. The developer has also described the maps as connected chapters building a broader narrative about the fictional corrupted town of Raven Hills, suggesting a deliberate, ongoing content roadmap even without a formal schedule published. Feature patches and balance updates continue to ship alongside new maps. No announcement of a final update or end of development has been made.
