Evaluation
Paranoid launched on December 15, 2023. Two patches shipped shortly after launch (December 19, 2023 and January 31, 2024), addressing a wide range of technical issues reported by players.
The DLC list contains three items: the Paranoid Comic (released at launch on December 15, 2023), the Paranoid Artbook (released September 22, 2024), and the Paranoid Soundtrack, which remains listed on the store with no release date. That unreleased soundtrack DLC means the game's content is not yet complete.
Since launch, Madmind Studio's news activity on Paranoid's Steam page has concentrated on the studio's broader "World of Agony" universe rather than new Paranoid content. In May 2024 they announced Nymphomaniac — a spinoff following Paranoid's neighbor character Vydija — which launched in October 2024 and was offered free to Paranoid owners. Through March and May 2025 they promoted Tormentor, their next major title, which launched on December 11, 2025. Both games are described as set in the same universe as Paranoid, but neither announcement includes new story content or updates for Paranoid itself.
The studio continues to be active, with Tormentor having shipped as recently as December 2025. However, development attention has clearly moved to newer titles. The only outstanding item tied specifically to Paranoid is the unreleased soundtrack DLC, which has been listed on the store since the game's launch with no release date provided.

PSYCHEDELIC HORROR STORY
The game tells the story of Patrick Calman, a 31-year-old man who lost his entire family in mysterious circumstances - his parents died in a brutal way, and his sister suddenly disappeared for unknown reasons.
The trauma of losing loved ones shattered Patrick's psyche and turned his own apartment into a prison for him. The only member of Patrick's family left alive is his sister, who disappeared more than 10 years ago.
One day, Patrick receives a phone call, and the voice in the receiver seems to belong to his sister. This one announces her arrival - several years after her disappearance.
The protagonist, suffering from Paranoid Schizophrenia, will have to make a difficult decision – whether to stay at home without medication and uncover the dark secret of his neighbor? Or should he buy the medicine and go to meet his missing sister, who, for the first time in ten years, has given a sign of life?
Among all the crazy theories that the main character is living with, this one seems to be the most true. Could the neighbor who haunts Patrick's dreams be hiding a dark secret? Who is she really, and why can't he get her out of his head? Does she even exist, and do we really want to know the answer to that question?
SETTING:
The Paranoid action was set in the late 80s, which translates into both gameplay possibilities and immersion from communing in realistic locations, full of frightening, hostile creatures.
