SUCCUBUS launched on October 5, 2021 and received a substantial run of post-launch content across roughly three years. Major paid expansions included Demons of the Past (December 2021), Red Goddess (December 2022 — packaged as the "Ultimate Edition"), Tormentress (May 2024), and the roguelike expansion Elysian Fields (July 22, 2024). A free Halloween update in October 2024 added a new weapon and a new setting to the Elysian Fields DLC. Critically, in a December 25, 2022 developer post (tagged as a development status update), Madmind Studio explicitly stated: "Although we have no plans to add any more new content to the game, we will continue to actively work on bugfixing." This was written at the time of the Red Goddess / Ultimate Edition release. However, the studio subsequently shipped two more major DLCs — Tormentress in May 2024 and Elysian Fields in July 2024 — which supersede that earlier statement and show that content development did continue. Since the Elysian Fields DLC launched on July 22, 2024, all 16 DLC entries in the store are marked as released, and there are no unreleased DLC listings. Developer news posts from 2025 onward focus entirely on promoting Tormentor, a separate game set in the same "World of Agony" universe. There are no announcements, roadmaps, or hints of additional content planned for SUCCUBUS itself. The store description opens with "TO BE CONTINUED IN..." followed by an image, which appears to be a teaser pointing players toward the new Tormentor game — not a promise of further SUCCUBUS content. With all DLC released, no outstanding content commitments, no sustained post-July 2024 update pattern for SUCCUBUS, and developer focus clearly shifted to Tormentor (which launched December 11, 2025), the content for SUCCUBUS is complete. The most defensible completion date is July 22, 2024, when the final expansion, Elysian Fields, shipped.
