Evaluation
Phantom Breaker: Omnia launched on March 14, 2022 as an enhanced version of a prior fighting game, described at launch as "the complete Phantom Breaker experience." After release, the developer shipped one major free content update — the "Spicy Edition" on July 28, 2022 — which added new announcer commentary tracks, quality-of-life improvements, and gameplay adjustments. This was followed by a balance and bug-fix patch on September 15, 2022 and a final small patch on October 6, 2022. Since October 6, 2022, there have been no further patches, feature updates, or new content of any kind.
All three DLC items listed on the store are soundtrack releases, all published at launch in early 2022. No unreleased DLC exists. The developer has not announced any future content, expansions, or roadmap.
The most recent developer communication was a March 18, 2026 anniversary celebration post, but this contained no announcements of new content — only community events, streams, and a sale. The developer described it as a celebration of the game's anniversary, not a signal of new development. The game itself had already gone without any content update since October 2022.
With no unreleased DLC, no outstanding content commitments, no post-launch update pattern that extended beyond late 2022, and no developer statements indicating further content plans, the game is considered complete. It launched as a polished, feature-complete fighter, received one meaningful post-launch content update shortly after release, and has been in maintenance mode since.

A mysterious man, known only as ‘Phantom’ appeared in Tokyo—the capital city of Japan—and manipulated vulnerable adolescents into fighting each other, bestowing upon them mystical weapons of great strength known as ‘Fu-mension Artifacts.’ In exchange, he promised to grant their wish if they survive.
Unbeknownst to the combatants, the fierce clashes between Fu-mension Artifacts caused distortions in space-time, which compromised the boundaries between parallel universes. The collapse of these parallel universes would ultimately break the seal, unleashing Phantom’s destructive powers.
