Vanguard Princess

Vanguard Princess originally launched in March 2014 and has received sustained development over more than a decade. The game entered a particularly active phase in 2025–2026. The Vanguard Princess Mobile (PC Port) DLC launched in Early Access on February 16, 2026, bringing a rebuilt version of the game with modern controls and online multiplayer. The developer shipped patches to that DLC in March 2026, refactored and relaunched the Vanguard Online multiplayer server for the Online Deluxe DLC on April 10, 2026, and updated the Digital Comic Series reader on April 12, 2026. Most recently, on August 31, 2026 — just two days before today — the developer shipped a major free update to the base game introducing full online multiplayer via a new dedicated lobby, expanded controller support, improved Windows compatibility, and a new integrated launcher. The post explicitly states this update "gives us a platform from which we can continue improving online play, compatibility, controller support, stability, and the overall Vanguard Princess experience over time." This is a direct developer statement that ongoing improvements are planned. All eight DLC currently listed on the store are released. However, the developer's own words make clear that this latest update is described as a foundation for continued work, not a conclusion. Development is actively ongoing.
