Pierhead Arcade 2

Pierhead Arcade 2 launched on August 5, 2021 as a complete VR arcade experience with 30+ games across multiple rooms. The developer (Mechabit) was active with patches and engine upgrades through late 2021 and into 2022, and made a minor engine update as recently as May 29, 2024. However, all post-launch activity has been maintenance and compatibility work — no new content for Pierhead Arcade 2 itself has been announced or released. The game shipped with all its rooms and DLC content already available, including a bonus DLC room for owners of the first game. More significantly, Mechabit has clearly moved on to other projects. Their news posts since mid-2024 have been entirely focused on new titles: MechaLeague reached 1.0 on September 23, 2024; Journey Up launched on March 5, 2025; and Desktop Colony was announced on October 8, 2025. None of these announcements reference any upcoming content for Pierhead Arcade 2. The studio's attention and development resources are directed at their new games, and there are no outstanding commitments or unreleased DLC for Pierhead Arcade 2. The game launched as a complete product and remains so.
