Pineview Drive released on July 31, 2014 as a complete horror experience. The developer shipped two meaningful feature updates post-launch: Update 1.5 on December 11, 2014 added two new game modes ("Open House Today" and "Scarecrow - The Eight Letters"), and Update 2.0 on May 13, 2016 delivered performance improvements, upgraded graphics, new sound effects, and additional shock events. A final minor patch (Update 2.1) arrived on October 28, 2016, adding a Berlin dialect voice option and small bug fixes. The store description references Update 2.0 as the latest noteworthy improvement, consistent with that being the final major pass on the game. There have been no developer communications of any kind since October 28, 2016, no unreleased DLC is listed, no future content has been announced, and no roadmap exists. The game launched as a self-contained narrative experience (30 in-game days, a single mystery to solve) and all announced features have shipped. The game is complete.
