Pixel Privateers

Pixel Privateers launched on February 21, 2017 as a full 1.0 release. The developer, Quadro Delta, supported the game with several patches and updates in the months following launch, including the Cosmic Booster Pack 1 content update on May 10, 2017 (adding 150+ vanity items, pets, and new events) and a Unity 5 engine upgrade with new auto-combat features rolled out in June 2017. However, on February 6, 2018, the developer Vitali Kirpu posted a public statement confirming that Quadro Delta had gone bankrupt. The studio cited disappointing sales of Pixel Privateers and an internal fraud issue involving a co-developer secretly selling generated CD keys. This is the last known official communication from the developer, and no updates, patches, or announcements have followed. The store description mentions plans for free post-launch content expansions, but those plans were made before the studio went bankrupt. With the studio confirmed closed and no communication since February 6, 2018, those plans are no longer actionable. The only DLC listed is the Official Soundtrack, which was released on launch day. No unreleased DLC exists on the store. Given the studio's confirmed bankruptcy and complete silence since February 6, 2018, the game has reached its end of development. The last meaningful content shipped was the Cosmic Booster Pack 1 in May 2017, with the Unity 5/auto-combat patch following in approximately August 2017 as the final substantive update before the studio closed.
