PixelJunk™ Eden launched on Steam on February 2, 2012, as a complete package including all 15 gardens from both the base game and the original "Encore" expansion pack. The store description explicitly states this full content collection is included out of the box, and the only DLC is the original soundtrack, which also released on launch day. The game has never received post-launch content updates on Steam.
The two developer news posts from 2023 are not about this game — they announce and promote PixelJunk Eden 2, a separate sequel title with its own Steam page. These posts confirm that Q-Games is still active as a studio, but they do not indicate any new content is planned for the original PixelJunk Eden. The original game launched as a finished, content-complete product and has remained that way ever since.
